What is your favorite thing about working at ClearTrust?

The culture at ClearTrust is amazing! My colleagues are the kindest, most-genuine, and hard-working teammates you can hope and ask for. Also, the Company truly cares for its people and its clients.

How do you relax after a hard day of work?

I roller skate, bake or watch Netflix, and spend time with my significant other.

What is something you think everyone should do at least once in their lives?

Skydiving! It is the scariest and most rewarding feeling I have ever experienced at the same time.

What’s the best way a person can spend their time?

Doing whatever makes them feel joyful and grateful to be alive.

What’s the farthest you’ve ever been from home?

I was originally from the Philippines, so the United States would be the farthest! But now that I call the US my home, then I would say, the Philippines is the farthest place I have ever been to.

What risks are worth taking?

I believe that the only risks worth taking are ones that will not ruin your relationship with God, your significant other, your family or your friends.

What is something that your friends would consider “so you”?

White cheddar popcorn, iced coffee, and anything with elephants.

What small gesture from a stranger made a big impact on you?

When I first immigrated to the US and was looking for job opportunities, I needed my resume printed, so I walked to a business card printing company near my home and the nice gentleman helped me free of charge! It was one of the kindest things a stranger has ever done for me. After I got a job and received my first paycheck ever, I went back to see him and brought him lunch to show my gratitude.

In your group of friends, what role do you play?

I am usually the one who listens and gives advice to help solve “puzzles”.

What’s the best and worst thing about getting older?

The best and worst thing is the same in my opinion – responsibilities, because you learn and grow from them, but you must also work extra hard to navigate them.
