What is your favorite thing about working at ClearTrust?

My favorite thing about working at ClearTrust is the atmosphere in the office. Growing up I’ve always had a fear of a dull 9-5 where the most I have in common with my coworkers are our experiences of the weather. ClearTrust is the polar opposite of my fear. Its warm welcoming place that filled with people who care about my growth not only as a worker but as person. I am challenged everyday to be better than the last; it’s amazing work culture and something I cherish every day.

How do you relax after a hard day of work?

Normally after a long day of work I go home to play with my dog Chester, cook dinner and unwind playing video games with my friends.

What's the best way a person can spend their time?

The best way some can spend their time is finding a hobby they thoroughly enjoy. Life is so short to waste your time on things you don’t find joy in. There’s a great saying that goes “We have two lives, and the second begins when we realize we only have one”.

What question would you most like to know the answer to?

Is the ice cream machine at McDonald's really broken?

What’s something you like to do the old-fashioned way?

I am old fashion when it comes to phone calls, I hate writing boring emails. I feel it is so important we talk on the phone because tone is lost when writing. It makes conversations murky sending emails rather than a simple phone call.

What songs have you completely memorized?

It would have to be Dancing in the Moonlight by the Harvest.

What’s the best and worst piece of advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I ever received was “Its not what you know or who you know, It who knows you.” The worst advice I ever received was “fake till you make it.” Don’t do that just ask question.

What do you want to be remembered for?

In life legacy is everything. When you die you can’t bring your money to the grave but your legacy and the impact you had on others is everlasting.

What is the “holy grail” of your life?

The holy grail of my life would have to be my word. I was taught from a very young age that in life you only have one thing and it’s your word. If I tell you I will get something done it will get done. It might not get done at that moment, but I will always stay true to my word.

What’s the best and worst thing about getting older?

The best thing about getting older is enjoying new experiences with new people. The worst part of getting older is time is moving way faster and all your friends are busy with their day-to-day life.
